Claire and Austin’s engagement session at Chatham Manor was a stunner! These two lovebirds have been together for almost three years – long distance since Austin serves our country with the Marines. Despite the ups and downs of a long distance relationship, these two came out even stronger than before and Austin proposed to Claire at the Grand Canyon this spring! Claire entered my engagement session giveaway so that she could surprise Austin with a professional portrait session. Who can say no to something as sweet as that?

We met at the gorgeous Chatham Manor in downtown Fredericksburg for this beautiful session in the summer. Despite the heat, these two were sweet as could be! One of the things I spend time working with my couples on is their outfit choices for their portrait sessions so their images are as timeless and classic as possible. I think these two nailed it – both with a casual, summery outfit and a more formal look including Austin’s stunning uniform. I love helping my clients create these looks!

I absolutely love this session and I’m so glad I was able to work with these two this summer and I’m looking forward to their fall 2018 wedding.
