My spring wedding season for 2018 has kicked off and it has been a wonderful, beautiful ride already! I’m so excited to be sharing my first 2018 wedding here on the blog featuring Bridgette and Steven.  Bridgette and Steven got engaged on Christmas morning after they got home from working all night at the hospital together! Steven wrapped the ring as a present for Bridgette and her whole family knew so they filmed the entire proposal!

This sweet pair got married at the start of May at the Inn at the Old Silk Mill here in Fredericksburg, VA. They had a gorgeous day filled with burgundy and navy details with stunning gold accents everywhere. Despite the stress of wedding planning (or so Bridgette said!), their day went off without a hitch! Their ceremony was heartfelt and hearing their vows was so sweet. I absolutely loved the details that Bridgette put together for the big day – especially the florals. They were perfect! And their reception? Just look at the beautiful centerpieces – there’s nothing the Old Silk Mill can’t do!

Bridgette and Steven’s wedding was seriously such a wonderful day.
