Punta Cana Wedding on the Beach

Toni and James met when they were in 10th grade in their English class! After being together for over 10 years, Toni was ready to get married and kept reminding James that she was waiting, ha! On March 6th 2016, Toni finally got her wish!! After a long afternoon of strange messages from James and friends distracting her, Toni was driven to the high school that she and James met at. She wasn’t thrilled because she thought they were going to get in trouble. But then all of a sudden, she realized what was going on! Looking past some balloons, candles, and a few friends, Toni saw James on one knee in his best attire waiting to ask her to spend forever together!

A Bright Punta Cana Wedding

Toni and James planned a gorgeous and bright beach wedding in Punta Cana, DR! Although they didn’t necessarily have a theme, they wanted a light and bright day – and they definitely achieved it!! The bridesmaids all wore mint or pink and had beautiful bouquets with succulent accents. After Toni got ready with her bridal party, she had a few quiet moments with her mother and soon-to-be mother-in-law, as well as a first look with her dad. It was great way to get ready for the day!

These two saw each other for the first time at the alter – it was beautiful! Their tropical wedding ceremony was perfect. The arbor had beautiful florals hung from it and was the best spot for them to exchange vows. After their ceremony, Toni and James were able to spend a little time on the beach for their portraits! The party was ready for them when they were done though! We headed back towards the resort to kick off the reception. It was just so much fun!!! The newlyweds had their first dance in front of a beautiful lit up LOVE sign. How awesome is that? This is a beach wedding we’ll remember forever!
