Quana and Steven have been together since 2009 and their love story is so sweet! It was such an honor to capture it. Steven proposed by taking Quana on a romantic date by walking through the mall and seeing the Lincoln memorial and monument. After their day in the park was winding down, they sat on a bench to relax. We decided to play some scratch offs he got us. Quana played through two cards and when she got to the last one she had to match three diamonds in a row to win the grand prize. Quana matched them in a row and the grand prize was “Will You Marry Me?”. Quana started to tear up, Steven got down on his knee, told me he loved me, and asked me to marry him. It was beautiful!

The two got married in a gorgeous October wedding Quana designed herself. She’s hoping to design even more! The day was a wonderful combination of navy, wine and gold plus tons of beautiful florals! And that bubble dance for an exit? It was so much fun! See some of my favorites from their wedding day – it was truly one for the books.
