I’m a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. Makenna went out for a job position at Brandon’s company and the manager sent her out to “test the waters’ and see if she would be a good fit for the position. Little did she know that the field ride would map out her future and introduce her to her future hubby!

Makenna & Brandon’s wedding was filled with elegant details creating a simply classic wedding day right here in DC. Blush, ivory and soft metallic details filled their day (and we all know how much I love blush!) so this wedding was definitely one of my favorites! The two had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course and their reception was way too much fun! From their getting ready portraits, to their first look and all the way until their sparkler send off, this classic wedding day was pure magic.

By creating a wedding day timeline with enough cushion built in, Makenna and Brandon were able to have plenty of time for absolutely gorgeous wedding portraits all over their venue – something I highly encourage!  Not only do you get a chance for more portraits but you get more time together with your spouse to soak in the fact that you’re married now!
