These two lovebirds got engaged at the Winter Wall of Lights at Meadowlark Gardens in front of their family and friends amongst the beautiful, glowing lights of the display over the holidays last year. Janeth was completely caught off guard by the proposal but was so thrilled to be able to say yes to the love of her life – especially with their families right there!
For their engagement session, Janeth and Daniel braved the cold D.C. weather for beautiful and classic engagement portraits at the Library of Congress and Jefferson Memorial – the stunning memorials a perfect backdrop for their session. Photographing my couples amongst the history of D.C is one of the best parts of my job. Sessions in D.C. are a fantastic way to celebrate the history of the area and document your love story! Janeth and Daniel chose a very classic look for their portrait attire – opting for a long black dress and tux against the memorials.
After photographing this sweet engagement session, I know their wedding will be something to remember! They will be tying the knot in a warm, summer wedding next July in Virginia and I can’t wait to celebrate their big day with them!
