Amanda and Matt are officially married! Their rustic Thousand Acre Farm wedding was a joy to photograph! These newlyweds met on Tinder – and found that they’d probably crossed paths many time before that unknowingly. The two began texting and had to postpone their first meeting in person, but once met up, they found that they clicked as much in person as they had online!! Quickly the two became best friends and through a very tough year, the two really became close and learned they were inseparable.
About two years later, while on a family vacation in Myrtle Beach, Matt popped the question! On our first full day in Myrtle Beach, Matt asked Amanda and her family to come out to the beach. They started walking down the beach and Amanda realized that no one else was following them. It started to rain and Matt dropped down to propose!! Amanda obviously said yes and they went back to celebrate with her family. It rained – and when they looked out the balcony, there was a beautiful rainbow – which Amanda knew was her dad’s way of saying he approved.
The two tied the knot in June at Thousand Acre Farm in Middletow, Delaware. Amanda and Matt planned a gorgeous rustic affair with blush, cream, and greenery filled details. The entire day was absolutely stunning and full of their family and friends. I loved watching Amanda get ready with her flower girl – and her and Matt’s first touch. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony along the water at Thousand Acre Farm and then we were able to capture some of their wedding portraits! After the start of the reception, we ducked out for some beautiful portraits with the sunset – it was perfect!!! Then we headed into the indoor portion of the reception. Amanda and her mom had a special dance before Matt and his mother – and I don’t think there was a dry eye. The two partied the night away before a fun sparkler exit to end the night. Congratulations again, Amanda and Matt! Your day was truly beautiful and I’m glad I could be a part of it!
