I cannot believe that Marina and James are SO close to getting married! December is coming up quick, you two!! All of my couples are special but Marina and James hold an extra important space in my heart because they actually got engaged during a workshop I hosted for my Laila Chanel Studios photographers. They were modeling for us and James wound up proposing (as a TOTAL surprise to Marina) during the styled shoot! It was amazing!! These two have always been a huge help to my business and shoots and I’m so thankful I was able to photograph their beautiful session!
We celebrated their impending nuptials with a Delaware beach engagement session in Lewes! Seriously Marina and James were amazing – can we talk about their outfits? You know I am all about my clients looking classy during their session – and these two nailed it! Their first outfits were very beachy and nautically inspired, which was perfect for the sandy portraits. After moved to the marina and waterfront, they changed into another really classic outfit choice. Both Marina and James looked fabulous! I love that we did both locations because it really allowed for a lot of variety in the portraits this happy couple received.
This Delaware beach engagement session was perfect for Marina and James. When thinking about where you want to take your engagement portraits, it’s always a great idea to think about somewhere that means something to you! Maybe it’s where you met, had your first date, or vacation together. No matter where it is, we will make it happen! I love traveling to help my clients create images they love! Your engagement session should reflect your love story, so really think about how we can make that happen!
