Elegant Biltmore Ballrooms Wedding Day

Jennifer and Jeff met at a housewarming party that Jennifer threw in her first post-college apartment through a mutual friend, and as she told me, the rest was history! Before they knew it, they had fallen head over heels for each other. In the winter of 2017, they were supposed to go to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to see the holiday lights. Atlanta had a “big snow storm” and as they were leaving to go to the Gardens, they got an email saying that it was cancelled for the night. They decided to go down to Piedmont Park anyways and tried to go ice skating at Park Tavern. They didn’t get to ice skate but Jeff insisted on taking a little walk in the park to revisit their favorite spots. While they were just hugging and talking, Jeff got down on one knee and asked Jennifer to marry him! Seriously a picture perfect proposal!!

A Biltmore Ballrooms Wedding

It was then time to start planning their wedding day! The two chose the Biltmore Ballrooms in Atlanta for their elegant day. The two stuck to a classic color palette of slate blue, gold, and silver to bring their day to life. Jennifer and Jeff encouraged a black tie optional dress for the day. When I asked Jennifer what her favorite part of the day was, she told me it was finding the venue and her dress! And she picked a stunning gown!!!

The two had a beautiful day full of family and friends. After getting ready with her girls, Jennifer had the sweetest first look with her dad! When they were done, we took Jennifer to meet Jeff for their first look. It was absolutely perfect!! Their ceremony took place in the ballroom and they had a simple canopy to be married under. After their ceremony, we explored some of the gardens at the Biltmore for their portraits before entering the ballroom again for their reception. The space had been transformed into a truly elegant reception thanks to House of BASH. Simple ivory and glass decor made for a beautiful setup! The two danced and celebrated the night away with their guests and we had a fun bubble exit to end the night.
