Kelsi & Andrew’s Leesburg VA Engagement Session

Kelsi and Andrew are such incredible people! Kelsi is an Autism Special Education teacher and Andrew is a high school counselor. The two met while working at the high school they’re both employed at and Andrew apparently told a co-worker after he met Kelsi that he wanted to marry her on the first day they met! Unfortunately, the stars didn’t align for us until about a year later, when Kelsi finally agreed to go on a date with him! The two met for coffee and before long, it became part of their weekly routine (I love that!). They spend Sunday mornings getting coffee and catching up on the week… One coffee filled morning, Andrew got down on one knee and proposed to Kelsi by telling her he wanted to spend his Sunday’s drinking coffee and catching up with her for the rest of his life! Seriously SO sweet! Now the two are planning a July wedding!!!

We decided on Oatlands Manor in Leesburg for their engagement session this past October. The weather was perfect and they picked the best outfits for their session! In case you forgot, I do help my brides and grooms prep for their sessions – outfit help and advice included! Anyway, we met at Oatlands and had a great session. As you can see, they’re both naturals in front of the camera. Oatlands Manor provided a ton of beautiful backdrops and it’s just stunning in the fall! About halfway through the session, Andrew and Kelsi changed into their more formal outfits and we captured some beautiful classic engagement portraits around the historic home on the property.

Kelsi and Andrew, I am so excited for July to get here to celebrate your big day with you! What you have is something special and I hope you never forget how lucky you are to have each other!
